Are all silver products the same? Absolutely NOT! It might
appear that all colloidal silver solutions are interchangeable.
After all, they are tiny particles of silver in purified water.
The only room for difference would seem to be the concentration.
However, this is not true! Two colloidal silver solutions with
the same concentration might produce very different effects.
One colloidal silver product currently on the market only inhibits
the growth of E. coli at a level of 1500 ppm. Super Silver
Solution has been shown to kill E. coli at a concentration
of only 2.5 – 5.0 ppm. This suggests that Super Silver
Solution is several hundred times as effective at killing the
E. coli bacteria.
Old silver products, often brown or yellow in color, contained
far more silver but were less effective at killing pathogens.
By contrast, Super Silver Solution is clear, odourless and
tasteless. Laboratory tests have shown that Super Silver Solutions
at 10 ppm to be at least two to three times as effective (and
up to 300 times as effective against some bacteria) as other
silver solutions. Recent studies have been completed under
the direction of Dr. Ron Leavitt, Professor of Molecular Biology
and Microbiology at Brigham Young University and David Revelli,
a microbiologist to assess the ability of Super Silver Solution
to kill and/or inhibit a wide variety of deadly bacteria. In
assessing the results of the study, Dr. Leavitt noted: “The
following results suggest the Silver Solution is a broad spectrum
antimicrobial agent. It is able to effectively stop the growth
of and in fact kill a large number of bacteria.” Tests
were also conducted at this Laboratory to compare the effectiveness
of Super Silver Solution to antibiotics from five different
strains of pathogenic bacteria ( E. coli B, E. aerogenes, E.
cloacae, S. typhimunium, P. aeruginosa, S. gordonii, and S.
aureus ). “The Super Silver Solution had a greater ability
on average to kill the bacteria tested than four of the five
antibiotics to which it was compared. Each antibiotic has its
own niche to fill, but not one of the antibiotics tested work
equally well on every bacterial strain that it was tested against.” (Ron
Leavitt) To date there is NO bacterial tested that Super Silver
Solution has not killed.
When Brigham Young University Microbiology Laboratory tested
a number of colloidal silvers currently available on the market,
it found their bioavailability (absorption rate) ranging ONLY
between 15% and 65%. It also tested Super Silver Solution and
found not only that it is more effective in laboratory tests
against microbes, but its bioavailability (absorption rate)
exceeds 97% !
